During the period 17 - 30 January 2014, the goCASE installation at the Gulf Cooperation Council - Criminal Information Center to Combat Drugs (GCC-CICCD) was upgraded to release 3.7.20. The GCC-CICCD is a regional center, established in Doha, Qata in 2007.
The GCC-CICCD is a regional center, established in Doha, Qata in 2007, to serve as a hub for representatives of the law enforcement agencies of each member state of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) -- Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates - to coordinate communication, analysis and exchange of operational information in "real time" on cross-border crime, including drug trafficking. On completion of the project, the law enforcement authorities of the GCC Countries will be served by an efficient and effective vehicle for undertaking joint operations to effectively interdict and break up the activities of international drug and crime networks within the region.
